"The Monkees" debut album was released in October of 1966 and became an instant hit due to the new TV series by the same name. Their first two albums were recorded using almost entirely studio musicians. The songs "Sweet Young Thing" and "You Just May Be The One" were recorded in one session each on 7/18/1966 at RCA Victor Studios in Los Angeles.
